Conversations on technology for community service providers

(At least) 5 Easy Social Media Tips and Tools for Beginners

Social media strengthens connections and collaborations. It’s a way to share knowledge with your: community, clients, staff, volunteers, other agencies, and those seeking your expertise. Wonderful, right?

In 2018 it is used to turn communication into interactive dialogue among communities and individuals. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, GooglePlus, the list goes on. When design intersects with technology, there are so many possibilities. So the announcement of the launch of the first online platform for digital accessibility really piqued my interest.

Seeing and Being Seen in the Arts Community

As a creator, I am always interested in the arts and cultural goings on across Canada. As a contributor to the Sharevision blog I have been even more cognizant of the happenings in the arts from an inclusion perspective. So when I caught a radio interview about an art exhibition at the Pendulum Gallery in Vancouver featuring only artists who are living with disabilities and who use wheelchairs, I paid attention.
